Providing an innovative solution for Northern Grampians *

The WinGIST suite of software provided by Phoenix Software continues to expand its client base within the Local Government sector. Phoenix Software has continued to develop and install the WinGIST suite of software in a growing number of Councils, with the latest being the Northern Grampians Shire Council based at Stawell, Victoria. Phoenix Software now has clients in three states including Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

“In selecting the WinGIST suite of software, Council was looking for an innovative and responsive company that will work with the Council to deliver the best outcome for its IT needs,” said Northern Grampians Chief Executive Officer, Peter Brooks.

As the core provider of the main Financial, Human Resources and Property based software, Phoenix Software has ensured that the solution delivered to the Northern Grampians Shire Council will deliver the cost benefits that any organisation seeks when upgrading to a new solution.

As part of this project, Phoenix Software has also been put forward as the preferred supplier to be involved in the Victorian Government Online project funded under the Networking the Nation scheme.

“This provides an exciting opportunity for rural Councils to be at the forefront of the eCommerce sector and to ensure that rural communities are not left behind in the rapidly developing areas of eCommerce,” Peter Brooks said.
