LGE2016 – Local Government Executives National Conference*

Novotel Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour, 2–4 March 2016.

Plans are now underway for the fourth Local Government Executives (LGE) Conference – a popular forum established and run by Coffs Harbour City Council.

Directors and Executives from the Local Government sector – essentially all those that sit immediately under the council GM/CEO level – from across Australia are once again being invited to network, learn and exchange ideas in March 2016.

“Coffs Harbour City Council has a long history of running exciting and leading conferences in the region – such as the very successful local government IT conference – which has been running now for over 18 years,” said Coffs Harbour Mayor, Councillor Denise Knight.

“The LGE conference provides an expert forum in which councils can identify and clarify the needs of their organisations so they can help their communities grow and prosper.

“And where better to do that than in our beautiful city?”
The conference program will run for two full days and offers a variety of council case studies and keynote presentations. For delegates wishing to extend their stay over the weekend, a range of fun social activities are available including golf at Bonville International Golf Resort or fast-paced action at the F1 Go–Karting.

Specific conference sessions will also be available for partners/spouses to enhance those important work life messages. Delegates are encouraged to bring their spouses to the social networking evening functions and there will also be a special partners’ program of activities during the conference.

The sponsorship prospectus and online registration will be available on 14 September and a $100.00 discount is available for delegates if you register prior to 1 December.
