Explore the possibilities

Greater Shepparton is a thriving, vibrant and progressive region to live, work and invest – the possibilities are unlimited with the best of provincial and metropolitan lifestyles on offer. The municipality is one of Victoria’s fastest growing inland regional cities located in the heart of the Goulburn Valley in Victoria’s north along the Goulburn and Broken Rivers.

The lively and progressive city of Shepparton boasts a thriving retail sector with many national brands available.

The surrounding smaller towns showcase plenty of hidden treasures such as cellar door wines, farm gate markets, crafts and vibrant community festivals and events.

Affordable housing, access to excellent education and health services and an active arts community, a strong cafe and restaurant culture, a river and red gum wonderland on the doorstep and world class recreational facilities make Greater Shepparton an enviable lifestyle location.

The region is one of the largest food producers in Australia, accounting for about 25 per cent of Australia’s food production, mostly through dairy and fruit. The area is also home to major food processing and manufacturing industries and is one of regional Australia’s major transport hubs.

The area hosts many major regional, national and international events and conferences and is well known for its cycling and other sporting events in particular.

Shepparton was recently named the second best walking town in Australia, a reflection of the great path network connecting our urban areas to our rivers and surrounding bushlands.

With all this on offer, there are plenty of employment, career, business and study opportunities. On top of that, the climate is warm and the people are very community minded.

Greater Shepparton really does have it all – the only limit is your imagination.
