Service and support through lifecycle of trucks*

Isuzu Australia Limited’s (IAL) three year ‘Customer Care Project’ initiative is nearing completion. During this time some 700 IAL head office, zone office and dealer personnel across the country have undergone specific customer care training to provide Isuzu truck owners with a unified nationwide best practice dealership service experience.

The core of IAL’s industry-leading Customer Care Program is its Care Centre.

The centre is staffed by four highly trained Customer Care Consultants who field all manner of queries, from product and service related to ‘where’s my nearest dealer?’

To take the guesswork out of matching the right truck and body specifications to customer applications, IAL has developed the Isuzu Sales Information System (ISIS), a comprehensive computer software program used by all Isuzu dealers to assist in determining the most suitable truck for the job.

A technically advanced software program, ISIS considers such factors as weight distribution, turning circle, startability, gradeability, geared speed and simulated ‘on road’ performance.

All new Isuzu trucks come standard with 24 hour roadside assist for three years from the time of purchase. Extended warranties are available at an additional cost across Isuzu’s N and F Series trucks, including F Series heavy duty models, for coverage of up to six years or 400,000 kilometres, depending on the model and level of cover selected.

Isuzu Extended Warranties offer true peace of mind after expiry of the standard factory warranty, protecting owners from a blowout in operating costs should unforeseen difficulties be encountered.

“Our level of commitment is demonstrated through the resources we’ve allocated to improving our customers’ experiences, and the vast range of support products and services we are offering,” said IAL Director of Sales and Marketing, Phil Taylor. “Many of these initiatives we’ve introduced in our pursuit to provide our owners with an enjoyable, hassle free and rewarding ownership experience, are industry firsts.

“We aim to ensure that Isuzu customers receive the best service experience from the moment they step into a dealership, and that this service is maintained during the delivery process and continues through after sales advice and support – in short throughout the entire lifecycle of their trucks.”
