Councillor Colin Grigg will serve as Deputy Mayor for Lake Macquarie for the next 12 months after being elected late last month.
Lake Macquarie Mayor Adam Shultz thanked outgoing Deputy Mayor Councillor Jack Antcliff and expressed his enthusiasm to work with Cr Grigg in the year ahead.
“A united and cooperative Council is key to our success. I’m confident Cr Grigg will continue in helping us meet our goals for Lake Macquarie,” Mayor Adam said.
“I want to thank Cr Antcliff for his hard work and dedication as Deputy Mayor during my first year as elected Mayor. His support, leadership and commitment to our community have been invaluable, and I look forward to continuing our work together for the people of Lake Macquarie.”
