Investment and trade in regions:

A new seminar series will assist businesses to become investment ready and identify and access investment opportunities. Investment experts will work with local finance professionals and businesses to increase their understanding of how to put together an investment proposal and help them to match up with potential investors.

The Federal Government is sponsoring a series of investment seminars to be held across regional Australia as part of a $2.2 million Investment & Trade in Regional Australia Package. The seminar series will be administered by the Australian Local Government Association and delivered by Australian Business Limited.Seminars will be held in 48 locations in all States and Territories running from March to May 2003 and will be individually tailored for each region to ensure maximum benefit.
