Windproof ashtrays for outdoor diners *

Outdoor and kerbside eating is fast becoming a customer favourite, but one puff of wind can leave diners fuming with irritation, or worse, ashen faced. In addition, local streets, footpaths, parks, gutters and waterways are littered with cigarette butts, ash and embers. But it need not be.

Curbside tables are now the largest contributor to the problem of cigarette butt pollution. But by educating local restaurants about windproof ashtrays, and altering local footpath or curbside trading laws to recommend or require them, everybody can carry on as normal without stray butts being carried on the wind to pollute our precious environment.

No Butts windproof ashtrays enclose dirty used butts in a sealed chamber and the ash, embers and smoke are trapped permanently inside.

Sugar satchels, matches and so forth are also taken care of as they are easily contained.

By providing or requiring windproof ashtrays for curbside trading, councils can dramatically reduce both the cost of litter cleanup, and the impact that cigarette litter has on the environment.

Additionally, by taking a leading role, Council can ensure that owners and operators take responsibility for the cigarette butt litter pollution caused by their own customers, at their own kerbside tables placed on public land. No Butts extensive range of windproof ashtrays, wall mounted units, floor units and distributable personal ashtrays are now assisting over 100 councils and shires across Australia in combating and reducing the serious problem of cigarette butt litter pollution in their areas.

As a bonus, when logo tagged, windproof ashtrays also spread the message, set an excellent example, and create a very positive perception of the Council.

In fact, the difference is so measurable that progressive councils are increasingly altering by-laws and trading policies to require windproof ashtrays on all outdoor tables for outdoor trading permits.

That¹s good for all and great for the environment as well. No Butts about it.
