Coventry Square Markets will boost local economy and employment

The City of Bayswater has given the green light to the Coventry Square Markets development that will take place adjacent to the Centro Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley.

The $50 million redevelopment, by the Strzelecki Group, will transform the former warehouse site in the heart of Morley into a civic, tourism and boutique markets precinct.

The Strzelecki Group has been responsible for a number of significant developments throughout metropolitan Perth, including Hillarys Boat Harbour, and Dolphin Quay at Mandurah’s Ocean Marina.

When completed, Coventry Square Markets will feature one of the biggest ranges of fresh produce in Perth, along with gourmet foods, cafes, restaurants, a microbrewery and over 150 speciality stores.

“Projects like this will see Morley develop as one of the most exciting and successful centres outside of Perth’s CBD,” Mayor Kenyon said.

“The Coventry Square Markets project supports our vision for the future of Morley as a major strategic centre.”

Strzelecki Group principal Greg Poland said Coventry Square would become a must see attraction for the people of Perth, as well as visitors to the State.
