Designing for the community*

Furphy’s Foundry has long been regarded as one of Australia’s leading street and park furniture manufacturers. The company also has a growing range of urban design solutions.

Driven by customer demand, Furphy Foundry’s well constructed street furniture range delivers adaptable solutions for most situations councils face across Australia.

With a rich history of providing for community needs, Furphy Foundry continues this tradition through its industry leading Urban Design range of furniture.

“We thrive on being involved in the planning or design of open space projects,” said Todd Huggard, Furphy Foundry’s General Manager. “Whether it is a streetscape that is funky and modern, a heritage listed area, a foreshore or a local park, we can create the perfect feel for the environment you wish to create.

“Our diverse range of suites, incorporating designs by Andrew Gibbs, allows you to maintain a look or feel right throughout a specific area via matching seats, settings, benches and bin surrounds.”

Beautiful hardwood timber and a 100 per cent recycled cast aluminium range adds class and warmth, while modern stainless steel and mild steel fabrication is combined with timber to add durability and strength.

Steel slatted seats and settings also allows for adding colour and shape to environments by a huge range of powdercoat colours or the curved by the metre seating or benches.
