eAudio books say it all

Library patrons have long appreciated the flexibility of eAudio books and their popularity just keeps growing.

The Bellingen Shire Council’s Clarence Regional Library recently set a national record for online eAudio lending.

Statistics released by eAudio suppliers reveals the library recorded 181 talking books downloads for the month of June – the most checkouts of any other library in Australia.

This service has been a great success with over 45,000 downloads since its inception in 2010.

If you haven’t tried an eAudio book, now is the time to get on board. They are great for your ipod, mp3, or car.

Ask at your library or follow the steps on the website. To use the eAudio service

Many people are easing the frustration of the daily commute by listening to audio books in the comfort of their cars.

The Hills Shire council suggests that residents could well find that the library service’s eAudio book and e–book system might be just the ticket to provide some light relief and help make the journey pass quickly.

Council’s e–book and audio system isn’t just for commuters; the range of titles available ensures that there is something for everyone and for every situation with over 3,000 e–books and 1,400 audio books available.

All it takes is a couple of clicks to access a dynamic collection of digital audio books and e–books at any time or place including popular fiction, recipe books, travel guides, study guides, kids and youth novels and more.
