Works and Parks on show*

The Local Government Supervisors Association of WA will be holding its 17th Works and Parks Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition at the unique El Caballo Resort, situated on Great Eastern Highway, Wooroloo, on 14th and 15th , August 2014.

The Conference and Trade Exhibition will include some consecutive sessions amongst at least ten presentations on major issues of interest.

There will also be plenty of time to visit all the exhibits at your leisure and compare a wide variety of all types of large and small machinery, parks furniture, signage, and many other things required for your daily operations.

As the exhibitors will join the delegates at all catering times, there is also ample opportunity for relaxed discussions.

The pre-dinner drinks and conference dinner will be held on Thursday night with a local band to entertain you and an unusual after–dinner speaker to show you a land of ice and snow.

The Annual Golf Day will also be held at the Resort on Wednesday 13 August on a course that is interesting, picturesque, and possibly a little tricky, but you have a chance to brag at the fantastic dinner later in the evening.

The alternative is an afternoon Mystery Bus Tour of the Avon Valley to view some of the most historic buildings from the early days of settlement, a winery off the ‘beaten track’ and the starting location of the famous Avon Descent.

To enjoy this great afternoon, guests should arrive by lunchtime on Wednesday 13 August, but earlier notification would be excellent.

We look forward to your participation, so please visit our website www.lgsa.com.au which is kept up to date or contact the Conference Coordinator as shown there.
