The Liverpool Night markets have invited visitors to learn the art of Samoan fire dancing at free workshops.
Deputy Mayor Peter Ristevski said the Liverpool Night Markets continue to offer families a night of fantastic entertainment and unique local experiences.
“Between the Matavai dancers and drummers, the dance workshop and the record number of market stalls, the October Night Markets will be a
fantastic night out.”
The markets are held on the first Saturday of every month and are part of Liverpool City Council’s plans to boost the city’s night-time economy and make the city a more exciting place to live and work.
Other highlights of the Night Markets includes a meeting with Rohanee Cox from the Sydney Flames women’s basketball team, a petting zoo and a book-swap at the Pop-Up Library.
