The Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) Board hosted delegates from across Australia at their Annual Networking Breakfast in Canberra on the 15th of June, the first day of the Australian Local Government Association’s (ALGA) National General Assembly.

Marie Coleman, Chair of the National Foundation for Australian Women Social Policy Committee, spoke to attendees on topics raging from maternal health centres to the current Paid Parental Leave scheme.

The event was also an opportunity for attendees to meet recently elected President of the ALGWA and City of Boroondara Mayor Councillor Coral Ross.
