The Digital Government Summit 2016 is being held on 3–4 March 2016 in Perth.

The Digital Government Summit 2016 is an exclusive government event, featuring some of the best leaders in digital government, with a fantastic line-up of speakers from across Australia.

Designed specifically for West Australia, whether you are a regional or metropolitan local government, the Summit features the key topics relevant to you.

Learn how digital technologies are transforming government and the delivery of services. Understand what the new Western Australian Whole of Government Open Data Policy means and gain practical tips and guidance on how to effectively implement open data within your local government. Discover how governments are successfully using digital channels to engage with citizens and learn what makes a great digital strategy.

Leading the fantastic speaker line-up is Paul Shetler, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the newly formed Australian Government Digital Transformation Office. Other confirmed speakers include Ian Brightwell, Chief Information Officer (CIO), NSW Election Commission, Maree Adshead, CEO, Open Data Institutes Queensland, and Craig Thomler, Gov2.0 Advocate and Digital Specialist.

The Summit will feature a one-day conference, with practical half-day workshops on Day Two, providing delegates with hands-on tools and resources that can be put into immediate effect when back in the office.
