Advanced safety for civil works*

In terms of importance, OH&S is arguably at the top of the tree in the civil works game. Not only can injury to an individual cost organisations many hundreds of thousands of dollars, a permanent disability to the employee is a loss of a valuable resource and a noticeable black mark against your Council.

The most recent WorkCover statistics reveal that the average lost time for a temporary disability claim in the general construction sector alone is about 12.4 weeks, with the number of claims for more than 26 weeks off work showing a constant upward trend.

Kanga Loader has developed its own skid steer loader technologies in sync with OH&S compliant civil works contractors who, rightfully, do not entertain the idea of employee injury.

Considering its equipment is applicable across all civil works tasks, the culmination of nearly 30 years of Kanga research and development sees OH&S aspects of each new model given high priority to provide safer working performance for operators as well as a better return on investment.

Specifically, Kanga skid steer loader technology has self levelling attachments for safe, fast and easy operation without load spillage; bucket roll back for load maximisation, minimal travel spillage, safe travelling, a better dump angle, and an open throat bucket to prevent wet material sticking.

Hydraulic wheel motors inside the frame prevent damage to the hydraulic motors and pipes with longer shaft seal life due to the cleaner internal environment, and the all wheel drive configuration produces better traction with no transmission friction loss.

Various attachments ranging from vibrating ploughs, 900mm augers, trenchers and rotary tillers to four in one buckets ensure Kanga is widely applicable for just about any site or application.
